Tubeless
Tubeless | Speed and Safety Without a Tube
Switching to tubeless isn't just a fad, it's a true technical revolution. At Novo Cicli, this collection brings together the best-performing models on the market, chosen for those who want to eliminate internal friction and reduce the risk of stranding due to a puncture to almost zero. If you're looking for the ultimate in tire technology for your Giant or BMC , you've come to the right place.
The Protagonists of our Range
We've curated a selection of tires that dominate rolling resistance and reliability tests:
-
Cadex Race Tubeless : The absolute top of the range. Featuring an ultra-flexible casing, it is the tire of choice for World Tour competitions. It offers a silky ride and incredible speed, ideal for those looking to get the most out of their Giant TCR .
-
Giant Gavia Course & Fondo : The perfect solution for training and long distances. The Gavia Course focuses on responsiveness and cornering grip, while the Gavia Fondo is designed with a more durable compound and superior protection to keep you going in all weather conditions.
-
Continental GP 5000 S TR : The benchmark in the sector. Light, fast and with impeccable grip on wet surfaces. It is the "all-rounder" tire par excellence, also compatible with the modern hookless rims of our Bike Wheels .
Tubeless vs. Tubeless Ready: What's the Difference?
It's one of the questions we get most often in the shop. Here's the technical distinction:
-
Tubeless (Standard): These tires have a thicker, airtight inner layer of rubber. They can, in theory, be mounted without sealant (although we always recommend it for puncture protection). They are slightly heavier but hold pressure for a very long time.
-
Tubeless Ready (TR): They are lighter and more flexible because they do not have an internal sealing layer. To function properly and retain air, they require the use of sealant . They are preferred by racers because they offer less rolling resistance and a reduced weight.
Why go tubeless with Novo Cicli?
The benefits are tangible from the first kilometer:
-
Say goodbye to punctures: The sealant instantly seals small punctures (up to 3-5mm) while you pedal.
-
More Comfort and Grip: You can use lower pressures than with an inner tube, increasing the contact area with the asphalt and absorbing vibrations better.
-
Mechanical Efficiency: Without the rubbing between the tube and the tire, you save precious watts.
